Fruit Harvesting Definitive

Under Review

Description: This bright green definitive postage stamp features a vivid socialist narrative vignette dedicated to Yugoslavian agriculture. The central artwork captures a lively collective effort during an autumn orchard harvest. A young male laborer balances mid-way up a wooden ladder to pick fruit from a tree, carefully passing a heavy woven basket down to a waiting female worker standing below him. In the bottom corners of the scene, two young children assist with the harvest by gathering dropped pieces of fruit into smaller piles. The state name "ФНР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА" is prominently integrated twice: once inside a flowing ribbon across the top frame in Cyrillic script, and repeated along the bottom banner using the Latin alphabet. A large "10 DIN" face value marks its denomination in the upper right quadrant. The lower left margin credits the famed post-war designer Pavel Gavranić, while the lower right notes the engraver, Krnjajić.
