Description: This special-issue postage stamp was released by the United States Postal Service as the ninth installment in the highly popular annual Love Series. Designed by artist Jayne Hertko, the graphic relies on a clean folk-art visual style inspired by traditional early twentieth-century Pennsylvania Dutch motifs. The composition features two deep blue lovebirds facing one another above a solid magenta heart, beautifully anchored by a twisting green botanical vine running across the lower border.
