Description: This artifact is an original, unsevered plate block of four United States 5-cent (5c) commemorative postage stamps arranged in a clean two-by-two grid. The landscape-oriented, perforated stamps feature a minimalist, geometric illustration of a pristine wilderness landscape. The artwork highlights a deep blue river winding through rolling green hills, set against a backdrop of snow-capped white mountain peaks and a pale blue sky. The upper left corner of each stamp bears the text "CANADA 1867-1967", while the lower right corner displays the denomination and country of issue as "U.S. POSTAGE 5c". The stamps are interconnected by crisp, completely intact vertical and horizontal comb perforations.
