Description: This official Boy Scouts of America neckerchief slide, commonly referred to in international scouting circles as a woggle, and was issued to celebrate the organization's historic 50th anniversary milestone. The circular, die-stamped brass insignia features an outer gold-toned border with the embossed motto "For God and Country" alongside the commemorative dates 1910 and 1960. The top half of the inner design showcases the traditional universal scouting fleur-de-lis set against a white enamel sunburst pattern, while the bottom half is finished in bright red enamel backing the raised inscriptions "Boy Scouts of America" and "50 Years of Service". The reverse side remains unmarked and features built-in fold-over metallic tabs used to securely cinch a scout's rolled neckerchief in place.
