RSPCA Sesquicentennial Presentation Pack

Under Review

Description: This pristine Royal Mail presentation pack contains a set of four mint, unhinged stamps issued to honor the 150th anniversary of the royal charter granted to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The top of the presentation card features a vibrant illustration of various creatures marching across a green arc representing the globe, spelling out "RSPCA" with stylized white lettering. The housed stamps include a 20p fluffy kitten, a 29p dark rabbit, a 34p yellow duckling, and a 37p sitting puppy, each flanked by a clean profile silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II in the top right corner.

Circa: 1990

Condition: Mint presentation pack

Notes:

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was originally founded in 1824, and this 1990 collection explicitly commemorates the 150th anniversary of Queen Victoria granting the society its official "Royal" prefix in 1840 RSPCA History.
