Description: This 43-pence commemorative stamp was produced by the British Royal Mail to celebrate the vibrant spirit of cultural street festivals. The dynamic, blurred action shot highlights a group of young children dancing down the parade route while dressed in voluminous, pleated white-and-gold satin robes and tall matching ceremonial headpieces. The bottom left corner is emblazoned with the bold orange stylized title "CARNIVAL" positioned directly above the tiny white numeric printing year "1998". To ensure its status as official legal tender, the top-right corner features a prominent golden-bronze profile silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II, balanced at the lower right by the numeric face value "43".
