Description: This vertically oriented postage stamp features a left-facing profile portrait of King George V, designed by Sir Edgar Bertram Mackennal, rendered within a fine circular frame. The monochromatic design is printed entirely in a deep violet ink on white paper stock. A large, prominent stylized numeral "3" is positioned in both the lower left and lower right corners, framing a central ribbon banner that reads "POSTAGE REVENUE" in elegant block letters. Directly along the bottom margin is the spelled-out denomination "THREE PENCE" flanked by subtle ornamental flourishes. The monarch's head is topped by a finely detailed imperial crown integrated into an elaborate border pattern of laurel leaves and scrolling ribbons. This particular used specimen exhibits standard line perforations around its perimeter and is heavily covered by a dark, wavy black ink cancellation postmark across the center face.
