King George V Six Pence Stamp

Under Review

Description: This beautifully struck surface-printed definitive postal issue features the left-facing profile portrait of King George V, designed by the iconic Australian sculptor Bertram Mackennal. The central vignette sits inside a clean oval frame bordered at the base by a pair of detailed oak leaf branches, which rests directly above the textual denomination banner reading "SIX PENCE". Flanking the king's neck are two vertical pillars intertwined with heraldic caduceus ribbons beneath the dual bold numeric indicators "6". The top architecture showcases the sweeping arches of the Tudor Crown arching gracefully over the text banner "POSTAGE & REVENUE". The piece retains pristine, uniform comb perforations along its rectangular margins on crisp, un-watermarked cream paper.
