On Fragment King Edward VII Half Penny Definitive

Under Review

Description: This historical Great Britain half penny stamp features the left-facing profile of King Edward VII enclosed in a central circular frame. Designed by Emil Fuchs, the artwork breaks with Victorian tradition by placing a wreath of oak and laurel leaves along the left border, while the right side displays a beautifully detailed spray of traditional English oak branches laden with acorns. The upper banner proudly splits the words "POSTAGE" and "REVENUE" around the Imperial Crown, while a bold circular black ink handstamp from October 1908 heavily cancels the green face, indicating its authentic usage on a vintage postcard or envelope.

Circa: 1902-1910
