Description: This striking one-pound local carriage stamp features a realistic, full-color portrait of the character Stan Ogden, famously portrayed by the English character actor Bernard Youens. Issued under the authority of Davaar Island, a tidal landmark off the southwestern coast of Scotland, the design is structured within a beautiful gothic archway adorned with delicate, climbing orange flowers in the top-left corner. The clean black label block at the bottom clearly states "CORONATION STREET" and "35TH ANNIVERSARY," neatly framing the actor and character names in sharp white typography against a crisp lilac backdrop.
