Description: The landscape format stamp features a stylized depiction of Mary and Joseph traveling on foot through a flat, sandy desert landscape flanked by three slender, deep green cypress trees. Clad in flowing robes of rust-red and deep slate-blue, the haloed figures walk past a distant, whitewashed mountain city silhouetted quietly against a soft blue sky. Inscribed gracefully along the bottom edge is the elegant lowercase script quote "every one to his own city" taken directly from biblical passages. Positioned softly in the upper-left quadrant is the classic monochromatic profile silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II, which sits directly above the bold, gold-toned "31" pence face value denomination text.
