Description: This 1993 Royal Mail Presentation Pack (No. 242) features a beautiful set of five mint condition Christmas stamps issued to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The striking artwork across the stamps and the display card was created by renowned British illustrator Quentin Blake, who is universally famous for illustrating Roald Dahl’s children's books. Each stamp depicts a key character or memorable scene from the 1843 novel, including Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim (19p), Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig (25p), Ebenezer Scrooge carrying holly (30p), a joyful character carrying the prize turkey (35p), and Mr. Scrooge's nephew and wife (41/39p variant) strolling through the snow.
