Description: This complete continuous sequence features ten mythical and heraldic creatures supporting royal shields, issued to commemorate the silver jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The dynamic illustrations capture the Lion of Mortimer, Yale of Beaufort, Greyhound of Richmond, Red Dragon of Wales, Unicorn of Scotland, Horse of Hanover, Lion of England, Griffin of Edward III, Falcon of Plantagenet, and Bull of Clarence. Each stamp balances two opposing figures detailed with crisp fine-line artistry and vibrant multi-colored shields, all unified by a consistent 26p face value and a silver-embossed profile silhouette of the monarch.
