Description: This philatelic artifact is a vertical margin strip of three unsevered commemorative postage stamps printed by Royal Mail using a high-quality photogravure process. Each horizontal rectangle stamp features an original illustration rendered in an energetic ink-and-watercolor style. The scene depicts an overjoyed, top-hatted man skipping alongside a scrawny dog, directly behind a laboring boy carrying an enormous, prize-winning dressed turkey decorated with a bright red bow. Inscribed across the design are the hand-lettered titles "The Prize Turkey" at the upper center and "A Christmas Carol 1843" at the lower margin. The right side of each stamp displays a deep emerald-green silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II positioned over a bold "35" pence denomination marker. The rightmost margin of the paper contains a vertical column of seven colorful registration circles, traditionally known to collectors as a traffic light sheetlet.
