Description: This item shows the complete, unbroken four-stamp block from Great Britain's groundbreaking 1966 ornithological series. This flawless configuration unites the Black-headed Gull, the vibrant yellow and cerulean Blue Tit, the iconic red-breasted European Robin, and the glossy common Blackbird into a perfect square. Each bird is situated on a clean white field, positioned immediately adjacent to its own individual slate-grey vertical strip carrying the distinctive white silhouette portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the pre-decimal 4d denomination. The uniform edge markings confirm that this block was expertly preserved directly from a full counter sheet printed by the historic firm Harrison and Sons Ltd.
