Description: This artifact is an original World War I era British Army shoulder title badge representing the Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment). The piece features block letters reading "RF" stamped or cast in a solid, un-curved rectangular alignment. It retains its structural reverse hardware consisting of dual wire loops and a fastening pin. This specific style of metallic insignia was pinned to the shoulder straps of the khaki Service Dress tunic worn by infantrymen on active deployment.
