Description: This artifact is an original British Army shoulder title badge representing the Royal Berkshire Regiment (Princess Charlotte of Wales's). The piece features a distinctively curved, die-struck design forming the letters "BERKS" in block-style typography. This uniform accent is manufactured from a robust brass alloy which shows a natural aged patina and slight surface oxidation from historical handling. The reverse side remains unmarked by a manufacturer and features two functional hex-shaped attachment lugs with an interwoven securing pin, a design standard deployed by military outfitters to securely anchor the title onto heavy wool service dress tunics.
