Description: This artifact is an authentic British Army metal shoulder title worn by the historic Fife & Forfar Yeomanry (F&FY), a celebrated Scottish armoured regiment. Die-stamped from a single piece of high-tensile gilding metal, the insignia features the initials "F & FY" crisply voided within a prominent, continuous border box. This enclosed, "in-box" framework represents the distinct, late-era styling implemented by the unit prior to its mid-century amalgamation. The face retains a smooth finish from active-duty wear, while the unmarked reverse side is equipped with two brass fixing loops designed to accept a cotter pin to hold the badge firmly against the shoulder straps of a khaki service dress or battledress blouse.
