Obverse: This authentic British pre-decimal coin displays the official obverse portrait of King George VI, meticulously designed by the renowned artist Thomas Humphrey Paget. The central motif highlights the bare head profile of the King turned toward the left, capturing a crisp rendering of his hair texture and facial features. Encircling the royal effigy is the traditional Latin imperial legend printed in sharp, raised block lettering: GEORGIVS VI D : G : BR : OMN : REX. This abbreviated inscription translates into English as "George VI, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britains." A highly defined, beaded protective rim frames the entire circular perimeter of this historic silver-toned denomination piece.
