Obverse: This historic British circulation coin measures 23.5mm in diameter and carries a face value of one shilling, equivalent to twelve pre-decimal pence. The obverse side displays the definitive left-facing portrait of King George VI, masterfully modeled by renowned medalist Thomas Humphrey Paget.
