Obverse: The obverse side displays the left-facing, un-crowned bare head portrait of King George V, designed by the acclaimed Australian sculptor Bertram Mackennal. Formed along the upper and left border is the abbreviated Latin inscription "GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX". This translates to George V, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons. Although not visible on this side, the complete design features a reverse engraved by George Kruger Gray, showcasing a striking cruciform pattern of four crowned sceptres with the heraldic shields of England, Scotland, and Ireland nestled in the angles. This highly detailed specimen exhibits minor surface wear and a soft grey silver patina consistent with historical circulation.
