Description: The piece is a classic "Other Ranks" uniform cap badge featuring the iconic, beautifully textured Egyptian Sphinx facing to the left. Struck in a crisp white metal, the mythical creature rests majestically on an elongated, textured plinth cleanly stamped with the battle honor EGYPT in stylized Old English Gothic characters. Layered directly beneath the base of the plinth is a flowing gilded brass banner that gracefully houses the capital regimental title LINCOLNSHIRE.
Reverse: Plain with a single brass slider fitting.
