Army Labour Corps Cap Badge

Under Review

Material: Brass (gilding metal)

Size: 27 mm w x 35 mm h

Description: The central design features an intricate pile of pioneer tools including a crossed pick and shovel bound in consort with a upright infantry rifle, neatly enveloped by a protective laurel wreath of victory. Surmounting the upper structure is the Tudor Crown, universally classified by military enthusiasts as the King's Crown, which places its manufacturing history firmly within the mid-twentieth century. An elegant, multi-tiered scroll sweeps across the entire lower border of the badge, displaying the crisp Latin motto inscription "LABOR OMNIA VINCIT", translating directly to "Work Conquers All". This specific small-format beret specimen exhibits a heavily aged dark golden patina, showing extensive pocket wear that softly blunts the finer texturing on the laurel leaves and tool handles.
