Description: This uniform element is an original die-struck white metal cap badge issued for the 7th (The Princess Royal's) Dragoon Guards. The intricate cavalry design features a detailed demi-lion rampant holding a pennon, emerging directly from a noble coronet. Grounding the heraldic crest is a classic swallow-tailed title scroll cleanly stamped with the text "7th DRAGOON GUARDS". The reverse side is cleanly voided from the die-stamping process and remains completely unmarked by a manufacturer. The rear mounting fixture relies on its authentic dual copper wire loops, or dual lugs, intended to accept a secure cotter pin when fastened tightly to a cavalryman's peaked cap or dress headwear.
