Material: Blackened brass with gilt detail
Size: 30 mm w x 35 mm h
Description: The insignia is an official regular cavalry regiment pattern cap badge, die-struck in bi-toned anodized aluminum, universally designated as "Staybrite". The focal point is an intricately detailed, matte black Prussian Eagle with outspread wings, bearing the centralized royal cipher "FR" (Fredericus Rex) across its chest. The fierce eagle claws clutch a gleaming gilt-finished sceptre on the left and a matching imperial orb on the right, topped beautifully by an independent, highly detailed gilt crown. The reverse side has a smooth, hollow strike showing the stamped manufacturer hallmark reading "J.R. GAUNT B'HAM", finished with its original vertical brass slider to tightly secure it to the regimental beret
