Under Review

Size: 23mm

Description: This circular brass uniform button showcases a vertical naval anchor precisely bisected by two crossed swords forming a sharp central "X" pattern against a smoothly polished field. Circa: 19th to 20th Century

Notes:

I have only been able to locate one other example online, and the item is not verified.

Sea Fencibles has been associated with the design with no background references.

It could be related to boarding parties, marine style strike forces, or naval shipboard law enforcement.
