Under Review

Material: Staybrite front cap, Brass back

Size: 15 mm

Description: This twentieth-century military artifact is a small-pattern uniform button struck in a domed, high-relief style. The mirror-polished chrome-plated surface features an intricate, intertwined royal cypher that blends the ornate cursive letters "RHG" for the Royal Horse Guards. A highly detailed Queen's Crown (St. Edward's Crown) surmounts the monogram at the upper apex. The reverse side displays a strong integrated wire attachment loop shank and carries a stamped, circular commercial backmark reading "Gaunt London", identifying its production by one of the United Kingdom's most prestigious uniform outfitters.
