Description: This striking piece of military hardware displays the updated official insignia of the Parachute Regiment struck in bold relief upon a highly reflective, convex face. The central design showcases an open parachute canopy flanked by two highly detailed, swept aviation wings that symbolize rapid airborne insertion capabilities. Surmounting the parachute lines is a sharply defined St. Edward’s Crown, with the entire design protected by a bright chrome finish that terminates at a smooth, un-bordered outer edge. The plain brass reverse side is fitted with a central fixed wire loop shank for tunic attachment and is clearly stamped with a concise manufacturer hallmark reading "GAUNT LONDON".
