Material: Gilt brass
Size: 25 mm
Description: This large-size officer's tunic button represents the historic infantry regiment, the King's Own Scottish Borderers. The circular convex face features a beautifully die-struck design showcasing the royal crest of Scotland: a crowned lion rampant standing atop the King's Crown (Tudor Crown). Arching dramatically along the upper perimeter is the bold regimental title text lettering, "KING'S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS". The piece is struck in high-quality brass alloy retaining much of its bright, fiery gold-gilt finish. Turning the button over reveals a fixed attachment shank alongside a crisp, highly detailed maker's mark backstamp reading "JENNENS & Co LONDON," framed by their distinctive Prince of Wales feathers trademark.
