Description: This authentic military tunic button is struck from a base metal alloy and entirely finished with a bright, mirror-like chromium plating layer across both the front face and back plate. The circular, convex face features a finely detailed central device depicting the royal lion statant guardant standing proudly atop a stylized Tudor-style King's Crown. This royal crest is framed by a wide border inscribed with the raised block-lettering regimental title "KING'S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS". Measuring exactly 20mm in diameter, the brilliant silver-colored chrome plating is completely intact, highlighting the deep ridges of the lettering and the textured fur of the lion. The reverse side features a matching chrome-plated backplate equipped with a sturdy wire shank fastener and a crisp, stamped manufacturer mark reading "FIRMIN & SONS LTD LONDON".
