Description: This die-struck brass uniform button features the full British Royal Coat of Arms, traditionally utilized for General Service personnel, colonial administrators, and military officials serving across the Indian subcontinent. The intricate relief design displays a central garter shield inscribed with the Old French royal motto "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" (Shame on him who thinks evil of it), surmounted by a prominent Tudor Crown (King's Crown) and a statant guardant crested lion. The shield is supported by the iconic crowned English Lion on the left and the Scottish Unicorn on the right, all resting atop a decorative floral compartment. The lower edge features a sweeping banner reading the monarch's motto, "DIEU ET MON DROIT" (God and my right). The reverse side features a robust copper attachment loop and bears the distinct historic backmark stamp of "A.A. Sons Aligarh", highlighting its localized colonial manufacturing origin.
