Description: This is a small domed button struck in brass for the British Royal Air Force (RAF). The face features the prominent, crisp block lettering "R.A.F." with distinct periods after each letter, all raised in relief against a slightly textured, plain background field. A clean double-concentric ring frames the initials along the outer edge. The reverse side houses a secure metal wire shank and is stamped with the manufacturer mark of Buttons Ltd. Birmingham, complete with their recognizable crossed-swords trademark.
