Description: This authentic military sweet or trade badge features an intricately die-stamped brass rendition of a traditional regimental side drum, also commonly referred to as a snare or rope-tension drum. The striking 3D sculpture beautifully captures the fine hardware details of military field music, showcasing the prominent top and bottom counter-hoops bound together by tightly tensioned zig-zag vertical ropes and adjustment leather slides. Measuring twenty-five by thirty millimeters across, the unmarked reverse side is fitted with a dual lug and cotter pin attachment mechanism meant to secure it firmly onto a uniform or field cap.
