Description: This historical item is an authentic British Army other ranks' cap badge issued to The Scottish Horse, a celebrated yeomanry cavalry regiment. The intricate design centers around a bold, polished St. Andrew’s Cross (Saltire) superimposed onto a textured oval band bearing the regimental name "Scottish Horse 1900". This central assembly is bordered by a split botanical wreath of juniper and laurel sprays, surmounted by a Scottish Crown, and anchored at the base by a sweeping three-tiered battle honor banner reading "SOUTH AFRICA 1900 1901 1902".
Circa: 1908-1956
