Material: Bi-metal (gilding metal and white metal)
Size: 25mm w × 40mm h
Description: The top half features a fiery, multi-tongued ordnance grenade struck in bright golden-brass gilding metal. Mounted directly onto the front is a contrasting circular frame piece made of silvery white metal, crisply embossed with the regimental name "ROYAL WELCH FUSILIERS". Nestled at the open center of the circle are three polished white metal ostrich feathers passing through an intricate golden-brass coronet, backed by two flowing scroll banners that bear the historic motto "ICH DIEN". The reverse features an unpolished patina fitted with its original, unmarked vertical brass slider bracket designed to slot into a standard service dress peaked cap or beret.
