Material: Embroidered thread on dark navy cloth backing.
Size: 76mm w x 105mm
Description: This vertically oriented, arched military uniform patch is constructed from durable, heavy black wool felt backing material. The central obverse face features dense, high-relief machine embroidery executed entirely in an off-white cotton thread. The main design motif depicts a pair of symmetrically crossed fouled anchors, which are intertwined with stylized operational ropes or cables wrapping around each shank. Positioned directly above the intersection of the anchors is an embroidered St. Edward’s Crown, representing the official authority of the British ruling monarch. The backing cloth is cleanly sheared into a traditional tombstone or rounded-shield profile designed to fit flush against a uniform arm. This unissued or carefully removed specimen retains its tight structural weave, showcasing clean fabric edges free of fraying or extensive field wear.
