Royal Marines Bronze Collar Badge

Under Review

Material: Bronze
Size: 37 mm W × 35 mm H
Description: This die-struck bronze military collar insignia showcases the Western Hemisphere of the globe with detailed topography and grid lines. The central globe emblem is cradled within a dense, symmetrical laurel wreath that is tied at the bottom with a neat ribbon bow. The metallic surface displays a rich, darkened antiqued bronze finish that highlights the raised continental outlines of North and South America. The reverse is configured with functional dual lugs and a securing cotter pin.
Circa: 1914-1952
Notes:

The globe and laurel design was originally granted to the Royal Marines by King George IV in 1827 to represent their distinguished service across every continent and ocean, replacing individual battle honors.
