Description: This British military uniform insignia is a standard issue collar badge belonging to the Corps of Royal Engineers or Artillery. The die-stamped brass design depicts a classic flaming grenade proper, composed of a smooth spherical bomb base beneath a flared collar ring that releases some number of twisting flame tendrils. Swirling across the lower boundary of the globe is an ornate, textured banner scroll embossed with the singular Latin word "UBIQUE" (Everywhere).
Reverse: Unmarked, dual lug design; missing top lug.
