Material: Gilding metal (brass)
Size: 25 mm w × 40 mm h
Design: This official regimental insignia was worn by other ranks (O/Rs) serving in the British Royal Artillery and the Royal Canadian Artillery. The design spotlights a hollow explosive grenade decorated with concentric rings across its spherical base to simulate a fuse texture. A detailed seven-flamed plume erupts from the neck of the bomb, cleanly separating the branch from the Royal Engineers who famously sport a nine-flamed variation. Curving symmetrically along the lower boundary is a distinct scroll that bears the single battle honor and motto "UBIQUE," which translates from Latin to "Everywhere" to honor the regiment's presence in all major campaigns. Reverse features dual lugs and cotter pin.
Circa: 1914-1950s
