Description: This historic British military insignia is die-struck from a durable, uniform copper-alloy metal alloy that has aged into a rich, antique brass tone. The high-relief design showcases a majestic, muscular horse rearing elegantly on its hind legs while dynamically facing toward the observer's right. Below the hooves of the charger, a sweeping banner curves gracefully to accommodate the raised, stylized sans-serif lettering identifying the renowned infantry unit. The reverse side features the specific diagnostic configuration of two robust, completely unmarked mounting wire lugs engineered to firmly pin the device onto heavy wool uniform lapels.
