Under Review

Material: Gilt brass
Size: 35mm w × 35mm h
Description: This military artifact is a die-struck brass uniform collar badge characterized by a solid, non-voided conjoined double-oval composition with a continuous metal background. The left oval panel displays a detailed medieval portcullis directly beneath a stylized coronet, while the right oval panel features the heraldic Prince of Wales’s feathers emerging from a small crown above a motto ribbon scroll. A prominent King’s Crown (Tudor Crown) joins the two heavily beaded oval frames together at the top center apex. The badge is designed without an underlying cross or cutout spaces and features two unmarked vertical wire mounting loops brazed onto its hollow reverse side.
Circa: 1922-1952
