Description: This vintage military artifact is a bi-color anodized aluminum uniform collar badge, widely known in the armed forces by the trade name Staybrite. The design showcases an intricate, intertwined silver-anodized royal cypher featuring the elegant cursive letters "QO" for the Queen's Own. A highly detailed, gold-anodized Queen's Crown (St. Edward's Crown) surmounts the monogram at the upper apex. Supporting the design at the base is a sweeping, upward-curved golden ribbon scroll inscribed with the title "THE QUEEN'S OWN HUSSARS" in crisp, raised capital letters. The reverse side is entirely unmarked by a manufacturer and retains its original structural fasteners.
