Description: This die-struck brass insignia is an authentic 1882 Pattern Officers' Collar Badge for The Norfolk Regiment. Unlike standard military variations where Britannia holds a vertical trident, this specific institutional design features her resting her left hand upon her Union Jack shield while holding a small olive branch extended in her right hand. The entire figure is beautifully integrated with a thick, heavy suspension ring extending directly from the top of her Corinthian helmet, while the reverse is fitted with dual copper mounting loops and a cotter pin designed for heavy wool uniform coat lapels
