Material: White metal (nickel-silver alloy)
Size: 30mm w × 30mm h
Description: The highly detailed uniform accent represents the combined heritage of the 71st and 74th Regiments of Foot. At the true center of the dimpled saltire star rests a light infantry bugle horn wrapped cleanly around the intertwined initials "HLI". Hovering directly over the bugle is a crisp King’s Crown, while immediately below it a flowing scroll bears the historic battle honor "Assaye". Anchoring the very base of the star pattern is a miniature cast elephant, representing the unit's historic service in India. This specific variant retains its unmarked reverse outfitted with two secure mounting lugs and a cross-pin mechanism.
