Royal Corps of Transport Collar Badge

Under Review

Material: Anodized Aluminum (Staybrite)
Size: 25 mm (width) × 30 mm (height)
Description: The emblem is designed in the shape of a multi-pointed, rayed silver star surmounted by the St. Edward’s Crown, representing the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The center of the star holds a circular gold-toned laurel wreath wrapped around a central garter band. Inscribed along this band is the Order of the Garter's traditional motto, "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense". Nestled within the voided center is the royal cypher "EIIR", while a gold scroll weaving along the lower section cleanly reads "Royal Corps of Transport".
Reverse: Fitted with single loop, pin, and plate.
Circa: 1965 – 1993
Notes:
The Royal Corps of Transport was established in 1965, amalgamating elements of the Royal Army Service Corps and Transportation units. The corps managed military transport, port, and movement operations worldwide until its merger into the Royal Logistic Corps (1993).
This specific variant is a modern "Staybright" issue, manufactured using anodized aluminum to maintain a highly polished appearance without the need for constant polishing.
