Under Review

Material: Cloth

Size: 42mm w x 42mm h

Description: This distinct uniform emblem features the iconic Red Hand of Ulster meticulously stitched in deep crimson thread at the very center of a golden-yellow shield frame. The top portion of the shield is boldly inscribed with the geographic identifier "ULSTER" in stylized red lettering. The entire primary shield configuration is securely mounted onto a durable, dark blue woven cotton twill backing cut into a matching pointed coat-of-arms silhouette.

Circa: Late 20th Century

Notes:

This specific compact variant was officially authorized for uniform wear by the Scouts Northern Ireland division, functioning as a primary regional identifier patch worn proudly on a scout's sleeve or uniform sash. The central motif borrows directly from old Irish heraldic lore, which dictates that the legendary crimson hand must be depicted as an open, upright right hand with the palm facing forward.
