Under Review

Material: Cloth

Size: 85mm w x 55mm h

Description: The item is an original, official-issue cloth participant badge from the 3rd World Scout Jamboree held at Arrowe Park. The rectangular piece features a light brown or khaki woven canvas backing. The central design is composed of a prominent dark green circular rope border encircling a matching green fleur-de-lis, the universal emblem of Scouting, accented with small yellow stars. Stitched in yellow thread inside the upper ring are the words "WORLD JAMBOREE", with the event year "1929" anchored cleanly along the bottom curve. A stylized yellow arrow dramatically pierces the circular emblem from the lower left to the upper right corner, symbolizing purposeful direction.

Circa: 1929

Notes:

This badge was issued to participants attending the legendary gathering at Arrowe Park in Birkenhead, England. Known historically as the "Coming of Age Jamboree," this massive event brought together over 30,000 scouts from 69 countries to celebrate 21 years since Lord Baden-Powell founded the movement. The distinctive arrow motif running through the design was an intentional, clever visual pun paying direct homage to the host site, Arrowe Park.
