Royal Courts Crowned Tipstaves Uniform Badge ?

Under Review

Material: Brass

Size: 55 mm w × 25 mm h
Description:  The central composition is anchored by a highly distinct, low-profile royal coronet or Queen Victoria Crown layout with stylized jewel detailing along the band. Intersecting directly beneath the crown are two identical ceremonial tip staves or court batons, which feature elongated, textured handles terminating in miniature, hollow-molded royal crowns instead of traditional spiked weapon heads. The entire structure is struck from a single piece of mid-weight brass alloy that has matured into a deep chocolate-brown and golden surface patina. The reverse of the piece is unmarked and displays flat solder scars at the outer horizontal tips where a pin and catch assembly was originally mounted but has since been detached.
