Description: This military artifact is a bi-metal cap badge issued to the King's Regiment (Liverpool), a historic line infantry regiment of the British Army. The insignia features a White Horse of Hanover rendered in white metal, realistically rearing upon a small patch of solid ground. This central equine figure is mounted directly above a sweeping, downward-curving gilding metal scroll that bears the regiment's title, "THE KING'S". The piece is unmarked on the reverse side and is configured with its original, elongated brass vertical slider tab extending downwards behind the center of the design to secure it into a soldier's service cap.
