The Scots Guards Cap Badge

Material: Bi-metal
Size: 41 mm w × 45 mm h
Description: This die-stamped Scots Guards Guardsman's Cap Badge is modeled completely after the Star of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle. The dual-toned insignia features a prominent, multi-faceted white metal or silver-plated eight-pointed starburst base. Superimposed directly at the center is a beautifully detailed brass or gilded circular scroll bearing the stern Scottish royal motto "NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT", which translates to No one provokes me with impunity, neatly encircling a high-relief heraldic thistle blossom nestled on its leafy stem.
